The inspiration for the design comes from the iconic Spitfire aircraft, a childhood memory of the designer. The name ‘Mitchell’ pays homage to Reginald Mitchell, the designer of this aircraft. This inspiration is evident in the streamlined forms and the subtle, dynamic lines of the tabletop. The archetypal shape and the striking corner joint detail, visible on top of the side table, give this design its distinctive character. The combination of these elements gives the piece a strong, recognizable identity.

The side table is crafted with an eye for detail and craftsmanship. The tabletop and legs are made partly by hand and partly using CNC technology, ensuring a precise finish. The tabletop is made of solid French oak or American walnut and can be finished with a high-gloss surface upon request. Oak provides a fresh, modern look, while American walnut gives the table a warmer appearance. The frame is precision-crafted using laser-cutting technology and finished with a powder coat.

The Mitchell side table can be customized to your liking. The base is available as standard with a black or bronze powder-coated finish, but can be finished in any RAL color of your choice. If desired, the side table can be equipped with a high-gloss tabletop.
